Week 31: 4 Navel Oranges??!

*Total weight gain?: 154...23 total.
* Pregnancy Symptoms:  I'm just tired, and I can't remember anything. I really, really want to put the baby's room together but I need Chris to help me set up the furnature. Our guest room is looking like someone robbed babies r us!...I think I'm feeling a bit "nesty." Also, I'm fairly certain that this little guy likes to kick me in the diaphragm because I feel jabs to the ribs and it's harder to breathe after doing NOTHING.
31 weeks pregnant
Week 31
*How big is baby?:  The size of 4 navel oranges??? This reference annoys me. There has to be some obscure vegtable like the jicama or something that we can compare little man to. Supposedly between 3-4 pounds. I feel better about the fact that he's probably not actually going to be a 15+ pound baby because I do NOT in fact have 'the diabetes.' My blood glucose levels came back perfectly normal at each interval in time and I was not even hyperglycemic :o)

Allegedly How Big Baby M is this week...?!?!!

*Sleep: I could sleep 15 hours every day if I let myself. I'm a big, big supporter of the sleep cycle.
Sex:  a little boy!!
*Maternity clothes: Yes, and some of them are starting to get tight :o( Megan Bondi just lent me some awesome dresses though, so I'm back in the game!!!
*Stretch marks: Not that I can see!
*Movement: Yes- I will never get tired of it!
*Food cravings: Still liking double noodle soup! (Yes I understand it's 100+ degrees outside everyday- but the heart wants what the heart wants.)
*Labor signs: No, I think he needs a few more weeks...but less than 10 would be great!!!!!!
*Belly button in or out: Screwy.
*What I miss: Sleeping on my back...somehow I end up on my left side every night and my hip is starting to get pissed off. Despite my best attempts at positioning, body pillows and wearing Chris' clothes, I am a little nervous about bursitis rearing its ugly head.
*What I'm looking forward to:  Putting the room together now that we have a bunch of stuff to put in it!
*Best Moment of the Week:  Repainting the ceiling and finding that it looks AWESOME the right color :) Also my baby shower was incredible! Robyn Pinto, my sister Sam, my brother Justin, god mother Carlie Bronzino, and Ally Newton put together an AMAZING day for me and my little buddy!

Week 30: A Whole Head of Lettuce!

*Total weight gain?: 153...22 total.
*How big is baby?:  The length of a Head of Lettuce! Supposedly nearly 18 inches and just over  3 pounds, our little man is nearing his birth length, but needs to chub out a bit more! I failed my blood glucose test last week (I had high blood sugar after drinking a sugary drink- shocking, I know), so I had to go take the 3 hour screen this week. Let's talk about annoying! I got stuck 4 times (one per hour), and my sorry a$$ fell asleep in the waiting room. It was a fun day. I find out soon weather or not I have "the diabetes." I'm NOT happy about this.
*Sleep: All the time!!! I might actually have some sort of sleeping problem! It's a bit ridiculous how tired I am all the time!
Sex:  a little boy!!
*Maternity clothes: Yes, and some of them are starting to get tight :o(
*Stretch marks: Not that I can see!
*Movement: Yes! He has a new 'trick." When Chris comes home from work, I get Laney Pup so excited about his arrival by telling her "guess who's here?!?! Chris is coming home!!!!" and she runs around the house freaking out until he finally walks in the door, just as she's about to explode from excitement. Apparently, our littlest associate has decided that, he too, is very excited about his Daddy coming home from work and he kicks like crazy! It really makes me happy, and I think Chris likes it too :)
*Food cravings: I'm a big fan of Chick fil A these days...Also, kind of liking double noodle soup- can't figure that one out, but I can't buy enough!
*Labor signs: No, I think he needs a few more weeks (maybe 7-10?!)
*Belly button in or out: Screwy.
*What I miss: Putting on socks is out of the question. It's just not an option. We're flying to New Hampshire for Ben & Lisa's wedding in a couple weeks, and Chris is going to have to help me put on my incredibly sexy compression hose. Bow Chick a WOW WOW!!!!
*What I'm looking forward to:  My Baby Shower this weekend!!!!
*Best Moment of the Week:  Being 10 weeks closer to meeting out little Buckaroo! Also, my mom bought us a crib and a dresser/changing table!!! I would say Chris painting the ceiling the wrong color because I told him to was the worst moment of the week though....

Week 29: A Butternut Squash!

*Total weight gain?: 153...22 total.
*How big is baby?:  The length of a Butternut Squash! Supposedly nearly 17 inches and nearly 3 pounds, our little man is nearing his birth length, but needs to chub out a bit more! We go to the doctor this Tuesday, so I'll post any updates that might give us. I get to take a diabetes glucose screen before this one...sounds awesome.

29 weeks
*Sleep: All the time!!! I might actually have some sort of sleeping problem! It's a bit ridiculous how tired I am all the time!
Sex:  a little boy!!
*Maternity clothes: Yes...and sometimes I like to wear Chris' old fraternity shirts and boxers...I'm not sure he fully endorses this fashion statement.
*Stretch marks: Not that I can see!
*Movement: Yes, my little diagonal associate continues to kick...now  a little higher. He kicked my rib pretty hard yesterday and I looked at my stomach and said "stoppit!" He did. What a good boy :) .....I'm sure I looked crazy.
*Food cravings: Now I'm a little off my meat crush (overkill maybe?). Nothing sounds good to me right now. I feel gross and think I need to eat a salad or two this week!
*Labor signs: No- though when I google the pictures of 29 weeks, I'm seeing babies who are born and survive. Apparently, his odds of survival at this point are pretty good (95%+), but these little babies are so tiny, I think I shall cook mine a while longer if I can :)
*Belly button in or out: Flattish in sometimes out.
*What I miss: Being able to move...Chris and I went to Costco again yesterday to get a couple things and I could barely keep up with him. I'm definitely a lot slower these days!
*What I'm looking forward to:  Getting little man's room together! Mr. Bronzino is going to help us out with picking practical furniture and is sharing his gorgeous talent of creating italian plastering on the walls. We are SOOO lucky! Also really excited about my baby shower in a couple weeks :)
*Chris' Weekly Advice to our Unborn Child: TBD
*Best Moment of the Week:  Being 11 weeks closer to meeting out little Buckaroo!

Week 28: A Chinese Cabbage and the end of the 2nd Trimester!

Week 28: A Chinese Cabbage!

*Total weight gain?: 152...21 total.
*How big is baby?: A Chinese Cabbage: another item at the grocery store that I have casually overlooked in the past, but I have a new appreciation for said Asian vegtable, as I can appreciate how big it is! Our "chinese cabbage baby" is approximately 15 inches long and somewhere between 2-3 pounds!

*Sleep: All the time!!! I feel like I have some pregnancy related narcolepsy. Chris actually suggested this the other day as he seemed genuinely concerned with how much I'm sleeping, posing the questions: "How would you be able to function next time you're pregnant with a toddler???" There's a lot of hypotheticals in his question...My answer consisted of something along the lines of not having 3 jobs. I think that would help :)
Sex:  a little boy!!
*Maternity clothes: I love them...I wear Amy's clothes every day. I feel like I look somewhat normal in her old navy maternity pants...Although I did look at this same pair earlier in the year at the store and walked out in a panic as I decided I would NOT wear penguin/ humpty dumpty pants. *sigh*
*Stretch marks: Not that I can see!
*Movement: Yes, and from what I can tell he likes to sleep in a 'diagonal' like his daddy...I can feel him on complete opposite ends: bottom left and top right at the same time! He's getting stronger and longer!
*Food cravings: MEAT. I've been cooking a fair amount lately, and I am thoroughly disgusted with myself. I am not a vegetarian by any stretch, but I would say that my pre-pregnant self would eat meat every few days. Now I eat hearty portions of meat every day....potatos are a favorite side. In fact, making potato salad with bacon has been a new hobby of mine. Gross and delicious at the same time.
*Labor signs: Nope- but the strength in these kicks is a bit foreshadowing to me demanding an epidural in about 12 weeks!
*Belly button in or out: Flattish in sometimes out.
*What I miss: Changing positions without it being an event complete with noises and groans....oh and energy.
*Chris' Weekly Advice to our Unborn Child: Don't be a serial killer!
*Best Moment of the Week:  Feeling more kicking and realizing that we're in the 3rd trimester!!!
